Forklift Attachments Saint John - Saint John, the biggest city within the Province of New Brunswick, is the oldest incorporated city in Canada. Known as the "Largest Little City in the East," It is said that the French explorers, Sieur de Monts and Samuel De Champlain, landed at the opening of what is now "St. John River" on the 24th of June, the year 1604 - St. John the baptist's feast day. This prompted them to name the river in honor of the saint. A significant historic landmark on the eastern side of Saint John Harbour is Portland Point (near H.M.C.S. Brunswicker). This was where the very first permanent French settlement in the part of Acadia or New Brunswick was created. In 1758, the British settled within the region and was replaced by American revolutionaries in 1775. Its segregated communities became amalgamated as Saint John and became Canada's first incorporated city.

According to the needs of every group, every pursuit could be custom designed, with groups being able to choose from the following activities: Orienteering, Camping, Kayaking, Shelter Construction, Hiking Wilderness, Survival Map & Compass, Archery, Canoeing, Cross-Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, Outdoor Cooking, Fire Building and Environmental Education.

In the Maritime Provinces, the city of Saint John is considered an industrial giant. The popular 20th century industrialist, K.C. Irving built lots of industries all over the city, consisting of media, transportation, forestry, shipbuilding, and oil businesses. His businesses still remain dominant in the region, specially the newsprint mill, tissue power plant, pulp mill, and oil terminal. Together with Irving's companies, the other main companies in Saint John are the New Brunswick Power Corporation, which operates Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station, the Atlantic health Sciences Corporation and Aliant Telecom.
